Effect °¬˛ćAƬ has successfully launched a new networking club for start-up enterprises and local businesses.
A total of 50 representatives from businesses and organisations based or operating in °¬˛ćAƬ attended the first Effect Networking session held in November 2015.
The event was held in Llanhilleth Miners Institute as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week and attracted businesses from design, manufacturing, IT, tourism and service sectors.
The event involved representatives of local businesses introducing themselves and asking about the growing optimism within local °¬˛ćAƬ economy. Informal networking followed and discussion about marketing and financing ventures in the heritage, health, leisure, marketing and IT sectors.
°¬˛ćAƬ’s Enterprise Facilitator Moe Forouzan was on hand to give more detailed help and support on request.
“Feedback from businesses will shape the agenda for future Effect Networking events which will be themed one network – many connections” said Moe Forouzan.
It is that planned meetings will be held every three months, the next being hosted at Llanhilleth Miners Institute. The date will be 3rd March 2016 5:30pm till 7:30pm.
