The Civic Centre remains closed to the public but there are other ways to make payments to the Council. During these challenging times °¬˛ćAƬ Council wants to make it as easy as possible for people to make payments. This could be through the secure online webpage which eliminates the risk of spreading Coronavirus or for those who don’t have internet access bills can be paid at PayPoint outlets, the Post Office or over the telephone.

Secure 24 Online Payments
The quick and secure way to pay the council is online and payments for a variety of bills including Council Tax can be made with most major credit or debit cards (not Diners Card or American Express).

Telephone Payments
You can make payments to °¬˛ćAƬ County Borough Council, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by using the digital telephone payment option.
By telephoning 0845 6042635, and following the simple instructions, payments can be made using your credit or debit card by keying in the appropriate numbers. (Please note: Calls to this number cost 5p per minute plus your telephone company’s Access Charge).
Post Office and Paypoint Outlets
By Cash at any Post Office or Paypoint outlet. Use the barcode on your bill/invoice or contact the Revenues section for a payment card. If you have a payment card, please retain it to make payments in the new financial year.
Paying Your Council Tax
