If there is a Flood

During a flood
provide detailed information about what to do in the event of flooding.
Severe weather can sometimes lead to disruptions to services, even closures. During these times we will always do our very best to get information to you as quickly as possible on this page.

Waste & Recycling
Collections were suspended on Friday 9th January 2026. Waste & recycling collections will resume from 7am on Monday morning (January 12th). This will include hygiene collections. Crews will be working to clear the backlog from this week first. Thank you for your patience.
Roseheyworth household waste and recycling centre is open (Saturday 10th January). New Vale is currently closed, we will update when it opens.
